Job Description

The Field Organizer position at Amrai Pari Paribarik Nirjaton Protirodh Jote (We Can) offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to women’s rights and gender equality initiatives in Dhaka. As part of the Renewed Women’s Voice and Leadership project funded by Global Affairs Canada, you’ll work directly with communities to address gender-based violence, promote sexual and reproductive health rights, and support inclusive economic empowerment. This mid-level contract role requires strong community mobilization skills and a commitment to feminist principles.

This Field Organizer role provides the chance to make a tangible impact through grassroots organizing, training facilitation, and advocacy work. You’ll be responsible for forming community groups, organizing awareness events, and implementing capacity-building programs across Mohammadpur and Keranigonj areas. The position offers competitive compensation of BDT 1,95,000 – 2,60,000 annually and the opportunity to work with a dedicated team focused on creating lasting social change through women’s empowerment and rights-based approaches.

Requirements

  • Experience: At least 2 years

Education Requirements

Candidates must have completed higher education from recognized institutions.

  • Bachelor’s degree (Honors/Masters) in any subject
  • Education from a reputed university
  • Relevant certifications in gender studies or social work preferred

Experience Requirements

The role requires substantial experience in field work and community engagement.
