Job Description

This Head of Product Development position offers an exciting opportunity to lead technical operations at a leading garments manufacturer in Dhaka. The role involves managing sample development, CAD operations, and technical oversight for international buyers, requiring extensive experience in both knit and woven garments. The successful candidate will oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from design interpretation to final sample approval, while ensuring alignment with buyer requirements and production timelines.

The ideal candidate will bring 15+ years of experience in the garments industry, with at least 5 years in a managerial role overseeing sample and CAD operations. This leadership position demands strong expertise in CAD software, pattern development, and fit analysis, along with excellent communication skills for coordinating with buyers, technical teams, and production units. Requirements

• Experience: At least 15 years

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering or technology field required.

Bachelor of Science (BSc) or equivalent
Degree in Textile Engineering, Apparel Manufacturing, or Fashion Technology
Related technical field qualification

Experience Requirements

Extensive experience in garments manufacturing and product development required.

Minimum 15 years of experience in garments industry
At least 5 years in managerial role overseeing sample & CAD operations
Experience with international buyers and brands
