Job Description

Truvalu Bangladesh is seeking an innovative Blended Finance Expert to join their team in Dhaka, working on structuring climate-positive financing solutions for high-potential SMEs. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on deal structuring, focusing on unlocking commercial capital for green initiatives aligned with Bangladesh’s climate priorities. The position offers an opportunity to shape financing architecture and mobilize capital that is not yet flowing to climate-positive enterprises.

The Blended Finance Expert will drive organizational strategy for unlocking SME investments, structure impact-linked financing mechanisms, and work closely with diverse stakeholders including SMEs, financial institutions, DFIs, and impact investors. This role requires 7-8 years of experience in banking, NBFI, DFI, or investment banking with specialization in climate finance or SME finance. The position offers a competitive salary package and the chance to contribute to market-building initiatives that strengthen green SME finance in Bangladesh.

Educational background in finance, economics, or related fields is required.

Experience Requirements

7-8 years of experience in banking, NBFI, DFI, PE firms, or investment banking with specialization in climate finance, blended finance, impact investing, or SME finance is required.

Qualifications

Professional qualifications and demonstrated experience in structuring investments and financial modeling are essential.
