Job Description

NTU International A/S is seeking experienced Business & Investment Climate Reform Experts to join their expert pool for the GIZ Global Gateway Investment Climate Reform Facility. This part-time position based in Dhaka offers opportunities to contribute to improving business environments and promoting sustainable private investment in partner countries. The role involves diagnosing business environment constraints, designing reform strategies, providing economic policy advice, and supporting implementation of investment climate reforms.

Qualified candidates with at least 9 years of experience providing economic policy advice and 7 years in business and investment climate reforms are encouraged to apply. The expert pool provides access to project opportunities as they become available, with assignments including stakeholder consultations, capacity building, and monitoring and evaluation activities. Requirements

• Experience: 9 – 9 years

Education Requirements

Advanced degree in relevant field required for expert pool consideration.

Master’s degree in economics, business administration, law, or political/social sciences

Experience Requirements

Extensive professional experience in economic policy and investment climate reform required.

Minimum 9 years of experience providing economic policy advice to governments
Minimum 7 years of experience in business and investment climate reforms
Minimum 5 years of experience in development cooperation projects

Qualifications

Expert pool members will be considered for specific assignments as they arise.

Skill Requirements

Diagnosing business environment and investment climate constraints
Designing and supporting implementation of reform strategies
Providing economic policy advice to governments
Developing reports, policy papers, and analytical outputs
