Job Description

The World Health Organization (WHO) is the UN’s lead authority on global health, working to promote health, protect populations, and support vulnerable communities. The Monitoring and Reporting Officer position at United Nations Volunteers in Dhaka offers an opportunity to contribute to evidence-based public health action, policy support, and emergency response in Bangladesh. This role involves supporting analysis of programme performance, donor reporting, proposal development, and coordination across technical units.

The successful candidate will work under the supervision of the Programme Management Specialist, maintaining systems to track donor profiles and reporting schedules while supporting preparation of donor reports and project proposals. The position offers a monthly living allowance of US$ 2,790 to US$ 3,240 and requires strong drafting, editing, and communication skills. The officer will also contribute to WHO’s engagement in national and UN coordination mechanisms, preparing briefing notes, presentations, and situation reports while conducting field visits for monitoring and data collection.
