Job Description

The M&E Specialist will play a crucial role in BRAC’s Economic Acceleration and Resilience (EARN) Project, a World Bank-funded initiative implemented by the Ministry of Youth and Sports to empower NEET youth in rural and semi-urban Bangladesh. Based in Dhaka, this mid-level contract position requires expertise in monitoring, evaluation, and organizational learning to support systems change and significant influencing components of the project. The specialist will lead the development and implementation of MEAL frameworks, coordinate training for project teams, and ensure quality control of monitoring data across 250 Upazilas.

Key responsibilities include providing support in beneficiary selection, designing and implementing the MEAL plan, ensuring gender transformation goals are met, and developing evidence-based communication products. The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree in relevant fields and at least 10 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation with international NGOs. This position offers the opportunity to work with BRAC’s joint venture partners, government stakeholders, and development partners to create sustainable impact in youth skills development and economic empowerment across Bangladesh.

  • Leadership experience in evaluation and applied research
