Job Description

Byte Capsule is hiring an Application Security Analyst (Red Team) to join its ZeroDay Test initiative in Dhaka. This full‑time position focuses on reviewing, reproducing, and validating vulnerability reports submitted by ethical hackers. The role demands strong offensive security knowledge, familiarity with OWASP Top 10, and hands‑on experience with tools like Burp Suite and Nmap. Candidates will work onsite at the Farmgate office, collaborating with both researchers and client teams to ensure accurate assessment and timely remediation of security issues.

The successful analyst will be responsible for technical triage, CVSS scoring, and providing clear remediation guidance while maintaining SLA‑based response times. Requirements

Education Requirements

Education is flexible; relevant certifications are welcomed.

Security certifications such as OSCP, CEH, or similar are a plus.

Experience Requirements

Relevant experience expectations.

Minimum 3 years active bug bounty experience on platforms like HackerOne, Bugcrowd, or YesWeHack.
Experience in report triaging, AppSec, or SOC environments is advantageous.

Qualifications

Core technical qualifications for the role.

Deep understanding of Web Security (OWASP Top 10) and API security.
Hands‑on penetration testing and bug‑hunting experience.
Proficiency with tools such as Burp Suite, Nmap, SQLMap, Postman.
Ability to reproduce vulnerabilities independently and apply CVSS scoring.
