SMEC (an SJ Group company) is hiring an Energy Expert to spearhead renewable energy initiatives for critical infrastructure projects in Dhaka. The successful candidate will lead multidisciplinary teams, design and supervise solar PV nano‑grids, solar‑powered lighting, and other sustainable energy solutions, ensuring compliance with national policies and international standards. This senior role calls for at least 12 years of experience, including 8 years in the renewable energy sector, and a strong background in mechanical or electrical engineering.

The Energy Expert will be responsible for assessing energy needs of flood shelters and community facilities, implementing energy‑efficient practices, and providing technical guidance for procurement and installation of solar streetlights.
