Job Description

The Training and Counselling Officer position at Bangladesh Nari Sramik Kendra (BNSK) offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to gender equality initiatives in Dhaka. This entry-level contract role involves managing training and counselling sessions, coordinating activities, and monitoring initiatives aimed at promoting women’s empowerment and human rights. The position requires frequent field visits to Dhaka Sadar and Khulna Sadar upazilas, with 80% of time spent in the field working directly with project participants.

Successful candidates will play a crucial role in implementing the Renewed Women’s Voice and Leadership project, focusing on gender-based violence prevention, sexual and reproductive health rights, and inclusive economic empowerment. The role demands strong communication skills, empathy, and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders. This position offers valuable experience in the NGO sector while contributing to meaningful social change and women’s empowerment in Bangladesh.

Requirements

• Experience: 1 – 2 years

Education Requirements

Candidates must possess relevant educational qualifications in social sciences or related fields.

Masters/Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Education, Social Science, or related field

Experience Requirements

Professional experience in training and counselling is essential for this role.

Minimum 1-2 years of experience in training, counseling, or similar role
Experience working on gender equality and women’s empowerment projects
