Accounts Officer (VAT & Tax Affairs)

Candidates must have relevant educational qualifications in commerce or accounting.

• Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree required
• Additional professional qualifications in accounting or taxation are advantageous

The position requires substantial experience in accounting and tax management within specific industries.

• 3 to 5 years of experience in accounting and tax management
• Experience in Garments, Textile, or Buying House industries
• Proven track record in VAT and tax compliance management
• Experience with financial reporting and audit processes

Professional qualifications and certifications that enhance the candidate’s profile for this role.

• Professional accounting certifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ICMAB)
• Knowledge of Bangladesh Income Tax Law and VAT Act
• Experience with internal and external audit processes
• Familiarity with government agencies and regulatory compliance
