Job Description

BRAC is looking for an Additional Chief Engineer to lead its Construction & Execution Department at the Dhaka head office. This senior role involves overseeing civil and electrical construction portfolios, ensuring projects meet strict timelines, budgets, and quality standards while complying with PPR 2008, BNBC, and internal policies. The successful candidate will act as the technical authority, coordinating design, procurement, and site execution across multiple locations.

Requirements

Education Requirements

Academic credentials expected for this senior engineering role.

B.Sc. in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline (preferred)
PMP or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certification (highly desirable)
Additional certifications in BNBC compliance or Safety Management (advantageous)

Experience Requirements

Relevant professional background needed.

Minimum 15 years in construction project execution
At least 5 years in a senior managerial role overseeing multiple large‑scale sites
Track record of delivering ≥3 simultaneous projects on time and within budget

Qualifications
