Job Description

We are seeking an accomplished and driven Assistant Manager to lead the Finance & Accounts department for our manufacturing group in Narayanganj. This critical leadership role demands expertise in accounting operations, financial planning, and strategic decision-making to ensure financial stability and support the company’s growth objectives. The ideal candidate will have 6-8 years of experience, with over 2 years in a managerial capacity, and a strong background in the garments or textile industry. You will be responsible for overseeing daily accounting functions, ensuring compliance with tax laws, leading financial reporting, and managing a team.

The position offers a comprehensive portfolio of responsibilities including managing accounts payable/receivable, payroll, general ledger, month-end closings, and internal controls. You will collaborate with senior management on budgeting and analysis, while ensuring all financial practices adhere to IFRS/GAAP standards. Fluency in Bangla and English, along with proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel, is essential. Over 2 years of experience in a managerial position.
Extensive practical knowledge of VAT & TAX regulations, laws, and submissions.
