ActionAid Bangladesh is offering an exciting opportunity for dedicated individuals to join their team as Cleaners (ক্লিনার) পরিচ্ছন্নতাকর্মী across multiple locations in Bangladesh. This full-time position is part of the Inclusive Services and Opportunities (ISO) project funded by UNFPA, working in medical colleges, hospitals, and health complexes in Cox’s Bazar, Chittagong, Comilla, Bandarban, Rangamati, and other districts. The role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in facilities that serve women, girls, and their children, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all service users.
The successful candidate will be responsible for daily cleaning tasks including floor mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and maintaining washrooms every two hours. The position requires someone who understands the importance of privacy and security, particularly when working in spaces that serve vulnerable populations. With a competitive salary range of 12,878-16,741 BDT and a contract period until December 31, 2026 (renewable based on funding and performance), this role offers stability and the chance to contribute meaningfully to community health services. Applicants should have at least 8th grade education and one year of relevant experience, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality while providing respectful service to all facility users.
