Job Description

Banglalink is hiring a Data Architect & Governance Senior Manager in Dhaka to lead the design, implementation and maintenance of scalable database schemas for massive telecom datasets. This full‑time, office‑based position focuses on optimizing relational and NoSQL databases, ensuring high‑performance data warehouses, and integrating diverse sources such as OSS/BSS, CRM and digital applications into a unified “Source of Truth.” The role demands a forward‑thinking leader who can bridge engineering pipelines with reporting outputs while upholding rigorous data governance standards.

The successful candidate will manage petabyte‑scale big data platforms, enforce data lineage and metadata policies, and deliver dynamic dashboards for key stakeholders across product, sales, technology, IT and finance. With a strong background in telecom data ecosystems, RDBMS, Big Data Lakes, and visualization tools, you will foster a data‑driven culture through self‑service BI and continuous education. Requirements

Education Requirements

Relevant higher education is essential.

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Applied Statistics, or a related field

Experience Requirements

Proven professional experience is mandatory.

At least 6 years of overall experience in data architecture, engineering or analytics
Minimum 2 years of experience in a senior or governance‑focused data role

Qualifications

Key technical and domain expertise expected.

Strong knowledge of RDBMS, NoSQL and Big Data Lake technologies
Hands‑on experience with Hadoop, Spark, Kafka and petabyte‑scale data platforms
Understanding of telecom value‑chain processes and data sources
Proficiency in data visualization tools such as MicroStrategy, Tableau or Power BI
Solid scripting and programming skills in Shell, R and Python, plus advanced SQL
Excellent business communication and presentation abilities
