Job Description

The Head of SME-Business position at SBAC Bank PLC offers an excellent opportunity for experienced banking professionals to lead SME business development across Bangladesh. This permanent role, with potential growth up to SVP level, involves formulating and implementing SME strategies aligned with the bank’s objectives, leading sales and relationship teams, and driving sustainable portfolio growth while maintaining asset quality and risk compliance. The successful candidate will develop new SME products, monitor portfolio performance, build strategic partnerships, and ensure regulatory compliance.

This leadership position requires a Master’s degree and at least 3 years of experience as Head of SME-Business in commercial banks, with candidates aged at most 55 years being eligible. The role demands strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and sound knowledge of SME business operations.
