Job Description

The Manager (Maternal, Newborn, Child Health and Nutrition (MNCH-N) position at JSI Research & Training Institute, Inc. in Dhaka offers an exciting opportunity for experienced healthcare professionals to contribute to vital maternal and child health initiatives. This senior-level role involves providing technical support to improve lifesaving MNCH and nutrition services, enhance community referral networks, and strengthen data use across health facilities in Bangladesh. The successful candidate will work closely with government counterparts and local implementing partners to ensure clinical excellence and service continuity during health emergencies.

This full-time position requires a medical graduate with at least 6 years of relevant field experience, including 4-5 years in MNCH and Nutrition activities. The role offers competitive salary and the chance to work with a leading international health organization on impactful projects in vulnerable regions like Cox’s Bazar and Chittagong Hill Tracts. Candidates with experience in these target communities and demonstrated ability to work with Bangladesh’s health system at district levels are highly preferred. Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills in both Bangla and English are essential for success in this collaborative, results-oriented position.

Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) is required, with medical graduate background preferred. A master’s in public health (MPH) or specialization in MNCHN is highly desirable.

Minimum of 6 years of relevant field experience
At least 4-5 years in MNCH and Nutrition activity
Prior work experience in project target communities (Chittagong Hill Tracts, Cox’s Bazar or tea gardens) preferred
