Job Description

The Asia Foundation is seeking a Partnerships Lead for its Building State Effectiveness and Accountability (BSEA) Programme in Dhaka, Bangladesh. This full-time senior-level position offers a competitive salary and involves working with government institutions and non-state actors to enhance public policy delivery and governance reforms. The role requires extensive experience in multistakeholder engagement and programme management, with at least 7 years of relevant professional experience in complex governance programmes.

As Partnerships Lead, you will lead day-to-day engagement under the BSEA’s Action-Driven Partnerships component, building trust relationships with government officials and non-state actors including think tanks, private sector, and civil society. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to meaningful governance reforms in Bangladesh while working with an international development organization. You’ll need strong political understanding, analytical skills, and the ability to navigate complex institutional environments with discretion and sensitivity.

Requirements

  • Experience: At least 7 years

Education Requirements

Master’s degree in international development, public administration, public policy, or related field.

Experience Requirements

At least 7 years of relevant professional experience in governance programmes and project management.
