Job Description

Project Associate (Admin & Finance) at ACCA Careers in Dhaka offers an exciting opportunity to work with UNDP on the Resilient and Inclusive Economic Growth project. This full-time position involves supporting land data digitalization initiatives under the Initiation Plan for Resilient and Inclusive Economic Growth (IP-RINEG). The role requires comprehensive administrative, budgetary, and financial management support for projects aimed at modernizing land governance in Bangladesh, benefiting over 11.73 million citizens through digital transformation of land records and services.

The successful candidate will provide crucial day-to-day support for project implementation, including financial management, procurement, and administrative coordination. Working under the supervision of the Project Manager, you’ll contribute to UNDP’s mission of advancing sustainable development in Bangladesh. This position offers the chance to be part of innovative development solutions that respond to climate, environmental, and economic challenges while strengthening national systems for long-term transformation. The role requires strong organizational skills, financial expertise, and the ability to work collaboratively with government agencies and stakeholders.

Requirements

Education Requirements

Educational qualifications vary based on experience level, with options for secondary education or bachelor’s degree.

  • Secondary Education with specialized certification in accounting/finance OR
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting

Experience Requirements

Experience requirements depend on educational background, with different years required for each qualification level.

  • Minimum 6 years with Secondary School Certificate OR
  • 3 years with bachelor’s degree in practical experience

Qualifications

Professional qualifications and certifications are advantageous for this role.

  • Part-qualified accountants from internationally accredited institutes
  • Fully Qualified Accountant from accredited institute
  • Completion of UNDP Finance Training and Certification Programme
