The Project Associate – Research and Policy Support position at UNDP Careers in Dhaka offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to parliamentary modernization and development under the Strengthening Institutions, Policies and Services (SIPS) Project. This full-time position requires a candidate with experience in policy research, parliamentary development, or public sector reform, along with strong analytical and coordination skills. The Project Associate will play a crucial role in organizing workshops, consultations, and policy dialogues while documenting lessons learned and good practices. Fluency in both English and Bangla is essential for effective communication with stakeholders and preparation of reports and analytical briefs. This position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on Bangladesh’s journey towards achieving SDG 16 and strengthening democratic institutions.
Secondary education is required. A university degree (Bachelor’s degree) in Law, Public Administration, Political Science, Development Studies, International Development, Public Policy, Social Science or a closely related field will be given due consideration, but is not a requirement.
Minimum 6 years of relevant experience with secondary education or 3 years with a bachelor’s degree in policy research, parliamentary development, or public sector reform.
