Job Description

The Project Associate – Research and Policy Support position at UNDP Careers in Dhaka offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to parliamentary modernization and development under the Strengthening Institutions, Policies and Services (SIPS) Project. This role involves supporting research, policy analysis, and implementation of initiatives that advance parliamentary functions, oversight mechanisms, and public engagement. The successful candidate will work closely with the Bangladesh Parliament Secretariat and other partners to strengthen institutional capacities and promote inclusive governance.

This full-time position requires a candidate with experience in policy research, parliamentary development, or public sector reform, along with strong analytical and coordination skills. The Project Associate will play a crucial role in organizing workshops, consultations, and policy dialogues while documenting lessons learned and good practices. Fluency in both English and Bangla is essential for effective communication with stakeholders and preparation of reports and analytical briefs. Requirements

Education Requirements

Secondary education is required. A university degree (Bachelor’s degree) in Law, Public Administration, Political Science, Development Studies, International Development, Public Policy, Social Science or a closely related field will be given due consideration, but is not a requirement.

Experience Requirements

Minimum 6 years of relevant experience with secondary education or 3 years with a bachelor’s degree in policy research, parliamentary development, or public sector reform.
