Job Description

SMEC (an SJ Group company) is hiring a Supervision Engineer in Dhaka to lead the day‑to‑day supervision of highway civil works. The role involves ensuring that road safety and construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, and contract requirements. Working within a multidisciplinary team, the engineer will support quality control, measurement, documentation, and traffic management for development partner‑financed projects, such as those funded by the World Bank, ADB, or JICA.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, brings at least ten years of overall experience with seven years specifically in highway construction supervision, and demonstrates strong skills in inspection, coordination, and safety management.
