China Shandong International Economic & Technical Cooperation Group Ltd is looking for a Steel Structure Engineer to join its industrial plant construction team in Dhaka and Narayanganj. This is a mid-level, full-time opening suited to a civil or steel structure engineer who has spent at least three years on site and who can communicate comfortably in both English and Chinese. You will review steel structure plant drawings, coordinate detailing, prepare construction plans and method statements, and produce CAD drawings, while overseeing hoisting, welding, concrete works, anti-corrosion and fireproof coating, surveying and setting-out, and quality inspection and acceptance. This Steel Structure Engineer position is one of the more demanding engineering vacancies in Dhaka, and it rewards someone who can solve technical problems independently.
The role also involves coordination with subcontractors, supervision consultants, designers, and industrial park authorities, along with responsibility for safety, schedule, quality, and documentation.
